The big news around here this last week has been the several days of snow we've gotten. Pretty rare for Western Washington in March, at least in our experience. Of course, in typical Washington style, it was pretty wet snow and didn't stick around long, sometimes not even enough to actually see on the ground. We decided to enjoy the snow one last time. Notice the daffodils? There are white flowers in bloom on the top left of this pic as well and then we have a couple bright yellow flowering bushes and some other purple bulbs (not sure what they are) too.
Trying to catch a snow flake. They were huge flakes! I tried too but caught more with my eye than with my tongue :)
I think Lauren thinks we are crazy for standing out in the snow. She did hold out her hand to catch some flakes too though.
