Fall Fun

Lattin's Cider Mill is a must in the fall around here. They have lots of good, cheap apples, pumpkins, and animals to see. And we really can't go through the season without some of their award winning cider and maybe a pie. I took the kids with my MOPS group, and Mike and I took them the weekend before that too. The first time we went, Lauren and Aidan were both having fun looking at the animals and making animals sounds. We reached the two sheep and Lauren was watching them and smiling. She has been to a few petting zoos before and although she's cautious, she will pet the animals eventually. As we were looking at the sheep (and they were looking at us), one of them let out a loud "Baaaaaaaa." Lauren started all out bawling and wanted out of there....NOW! So I wasn't surprised when Lauren wanted to stay right by me on our return trip a few days later. She really didn't want much to do with the animals and cried as I carried her past the sheep pen :( Oh the trauma! Aidan however, enjoyed feeding and talking to the animals.

This handful of feed was intended for a goat to the left of this picture when this sneaky guy came along to steal it.

As part of the tour, the kids can pick out a pumpkin but it has to be one that they can carry themselves. Lauren gave this one a quick inspection and decided it was just right for her.

Aidan had his sights on something a little bigger and had to lug his out of the pumpkin patch

It is hard to find a pile of dry leaves to play in around here. These weren't exactly dry but good enough for a leaf fight!

Cute pictures. I like the one of Aidan and Lauren holding hands. Did Aidan lug that pumpkin all the way? I just feel the rough tongue of that calf.
