On Memorial Day, we headed to downtown Lynden to check out a toy store I like. Sadly, I don't think it is there anymore, we couldn't find it at least. So I took a few photos of the kids instead.
Lauren is so goofy and loves to ham it up for the camera.

These two..... they can be such good friends, or they can be fighting like cats and dogs. It's always nice to capture the sweeter moments :)

On our way out of town, I was telling Mike about a cemetery I had seen the day before that had a long row of beautiful flags lining its front drive. We decided to stop on our way out. I didn't realize that the whole cemetery was full of these flags, 1347 of them in all. It was the first time the kids have been to a cemetery so I got to answer a few questions from Aidan about why there were bodies in the ground and why we don't need our bodies anymore once they die. Luckily, he accepted my answers easily enough and that was the end of it.
This is just a small portions of flags in one corner of the cemetery.

We checked out this old canon too.

Boy have the kids changed since the last pictures. They both look so much older. Aiden especially looks older in his face. First time I have seen you pregnant Mal. Yes there is definately a little babe in there. I like the picture of Mike and Aidan by the flag. Mike you will definately need a haircut before I get there. :-) I did not see the video yet, doesn't load by Ab. I will look when I get home. Thanks for the post Mal.
