Today I was backing up out of a driveway onto a very narrow, car-lined street. It was difficult to see any traffic and as I backed up into the street I saw a car last minute, stepped on the break and said "Oooh." This conversation followed:
Aidan. "What happened mommy?"
Me. "I almost hit that car."
Aidan. "You should say you're sorry."
Me. "I am sorry car."
Aidan. "Car, I am sooooo sorry that mommy crashed you."
Me. "Well, I didn't actually hit him, just almost."
Aidan, "Oh. Car, I am sooooo sorry that mommy ALMOST crashed you."
Me. "That's better, thanks bud."
Some other things that make me laugh.
When Aidan says, "it's sooo tool, check it out!"
When Lauren says, "moooommmmyyyyy, t'mere (come here)" whenever she wants to ask or show me something, even when I am right there.
I have been laughing at these two a lot lately.
